How To Play Poker
Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.

You cards are safe if you put them face down on the table and put a chip on top of them. The dealer has to offer a cut of the deck to the player to his right. The player can cut, tap or pass the cut to the player to his right. If the player decides to tap it means that there is no need for cutting. If you answer your mobile phone in the middle of a hand it means that you fold your hand. Don’t take your cell phone with you or turn it off. It is not allowed to talk to other players involved in the game. Profanity and obscenities are forbidden. You can’t shout in the casino. Remember that you can stop playing anytime. It will be better if other players don’t see the cards you discard, so you’d better discard them on a low line of flight. Place chips as far forward as reasonably possible to make it easier for the dealer to scoop them. Don’t keep silent if you notice that the dealer or some player has made a mistake.

Poker is the only casino game, in which players play against each other, but not against the house. Poker has many variations, although the rules of play and strategy differ, the hierarchy of winning hands remains the same. Nowadays Poker is one of the popular and most played card games in the world.
