Rules Of Poker
Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.

About The Game Of Poker
Poker is a popular game throughout the world. It combines principles of card games known hundreds of years ago in Europe and probably long before that in the Orient, but in its present form it is distinctly of American origin. There are many variations of Poker, but they differ mostly in details and all follow the same basic principles. A person who has learned these principles can play without difficulty in any game. Poker is a game of betting as to which player holds the best hand. In most cases, best hand contains the five highest-ranking cards, but what is considered the best hand can vary in some types of Poker. In a High/Low Poker game, two players have the opportunity to win and split the pot. The player with the highest-ranking hand and the player with the lowest-ranking hand win. All bets made by all players go in a pile of chips in the center of the table, called the pot. If you don’t want to meet the highest bet by some other player you can’t compete for the pot. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. The object of the game is to win the pot. A player can win the pot in one of the two ways. After making all the bets there is a showdown. The player who has the strongest hand is the winner. If during betting, a player makes a bet that no other players are willing to meet, that player wins the pot without showing his/her cards. A 52-card deck is used in the game of Poker. Only one card at a time is dealt. The cards are dealt in a clockwise direction. Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5.

Etiquette At Poker Table
The winnerracks the pot and only then you can move another player's cards. You can touch or move the cards of other gamblers only if they permit it. You cards are safe if you put them face down on the table and put a chip on top of them. The dealer has to offer a cut of the deck to the player to his right. The player can cut, tap or pass the cut to the player to his right. If the player decides to tap it means that there is no need for cutting. If you answer your mobile phone in the middle of a hand it means that you fold your hand. Don’t take your cell phone with you or turn it off. Players can’t talk to each other during the game. Never use profanity and obscenities during the game. Shouting is forbidden. Nobody can make you stay in the casino longer than you wish. Have respect for the dealer and his job. If you lose and think that the dealer is to blame, you are mistaken. Cards must be discarded on a low line of flight so that people can't see them. Place chips as far forward as reasonably possible to make it easier for the dealer to scoop them. Speak up when you see an error such as an improper amount of a bet, a card going to the wrong person or a flashed card, or the pot about to be incorrectly awarded.
Poker Game History
The game of Poker is based on several games, but still nobody can say for sure what these games are. Poker can be based on one of the Chinese or Persian card games. According to some books and dictionaries the game came from France. China was the first country in which card games appeared, in Persia there was a game with 25 cards and 5 suits and in France gamblers began to use decks consisting of suits made from spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts. The true origin of the game remains shrouded in mystery. New Orleans was the first state, in which the game of Poker appeared, later, the game was played all over the country. In 1835 Poker was one of the most popular games and then it was different from the modern version of the game. New Poker variations, which were also very popular appeared during the Civil War. Stud, Draw and Straight Pokers were introduced and they became every popular. During the Wild West period of United States history, a place where one could play Poker could be found in just about every town. Poker is the only casino game, in which players play against each other, but not against the house. Though there are a lot of Poker variations, which differ from each other, the principle of winning hands remain the same. Nowadays you can play Poker in any casino in nearly any country.
