Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. To stay into the game every player has to call. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.

Poker is a game of betting as to which player holds the best hand. In most cases, best hand contains the five highest-ranking cards, but what is considered the best hand can vary in some types of Poker. In a High/Low Poker game, two players have the opportunity to win and split the pot. The player with the highest-ranking hand and the player with the lowest-ranking hand win. All bets made by all players go in a pile of chips in the center of the table, called the pot. No player can compete for the pot unless he or she is willing to meet the highest bet made by another player. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. The object of the game is to win the pot. A player can win the pot in one of the two ways. After all bets are in, all players that are still in show their hands. The winneris the player with the strongest hand. The player can make a very high bet, which will not be supported by other players. In this case other players have to fold and the player with the high bet is the winnerwithout showing his cards. A 52-card deck is used in the game of Poker. Each player receives one cards at a time. The cards are dealt clockwise. Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5.

The winnerracks the pot and only then you can move another player's cards. You can touch or move the cards of other gamblers only if they permit it. You cards are safe if you put them face down on the table and put a chip on top of them. The dealer has to offer a cut of the deck to the player to his right. The player can cut, tap or pass the cut to the player to his right. If the player decides to tap it means that there is no need for cutting. If you answer your mobile phone in the middle of a hand it means that you fold your hand. Don’t take your cell phone with you or turn it off. Players can’t talk to each other during the game. Never use profanity and obscenities during the game. You can’t shout in the casino. You can leave the casino anytime. Every player must respect the dealer and his job. The dealer is not to blame if you don’t win. Cards must be discarded on a low line of flight so that people can't see them. Place chips as far forward as reasonably possible to make it easier for the dealer to scoop them. Speak up when you see an error such as an improper amount of a bet, a card going to the wrong person or a flashed card, or the pot about to be incorrectly awarded.

China was the first country in which card games appeared, in Persia there was a game with 25 cards and 5 suits and in France gamblers began to use decks consisting of suits made from spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts. The true origin of the game remains shrouded in mystery. In the USA the game appeared in New Orleans and it was spread all over the country. At the beginning of the 19th century the game was extremely popular, but it differed from the modern version of the game. New Poker variations, which were also very popular appeared during the Civil War. During the Civil War stud poker, the draw, and the straight Poker appeared and became very popular. Poker could be played in nearly every town during the Wild West period in the USA. Poker is the only casino game, in which players play against each other, but not against the house. There are a lot of Poker variations, which differ from each other in some features, but still the hierarchy of winning hand combinations remains the same. Nowadays Poker is played all over the world.
