Poker Rules
Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game every player has to call. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.

About Poker
Poker is a popular game throughout the world. It combines principles of card games known hundreds of years ago in Europe and probably long before that in the Orient, but in its present form it is distinctly of American origin. There are many variations of Poker, but they differ mostly in details and all follow the same basic principles. A person who has learned these principles can play without difficulty in any game. Poker is a game of betting as to which player holds the best hand. In most cases, best hand contains the five highest-ranking cards, but what is considered the best hand can vary in some types of Poker. In a High/Low Poker game, two players have the opportunity to win and split the pot. The player with the highest-ranking hand and the player with the lowest-ranking hand win. All bets made by all players go in a pile of chips in the center of the table, called the pot. No player can compete for the pot unless he or she is willing to meet the highest bet made by another player. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. To win the pot is the objective of the game. There are two ways of winning the pot. When all the bets are made by the players, they show down their cards. The player with the best hand wins. If one of the players make a bet, which is not met by other players, he wins the pot without showing his cards. Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Each player receives one cards at a time. The cards are dealt clockwise. Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5.
