Poker Rules
Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You must at least call to stay into the game. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. After the second and final deal the betting is about to start. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.

5 Card Stud
5 Card Stud rules
The number of the participating players in 5 Card Stud can vary from
two to ten. At the start of the game the dealer deals each player one card, face
down. You have to look at this so called "Hole Card" but
don't let anybody else see this card. It needs to remain unknown to the
opposing players. The next round of cards will be dealt Face Up.
Then he puts the pack face down in front of himself on the table. The
player with the highest ranking upcard now makes the opening bet. Now you
have to either Call
or Raise
to stay in the game. After all the bets are made the dealer deals another
upcard to the remaining players. The second round of betting starts with
the player holding the highest ranking hand with the two upcards. The
player then has three choices. He can either Drop Out, Check or
Bet. The rest of the 5 card stud players can either Stay, Play, Fold
or Raise. The next round the dealer again deals another upcard to each
player. Now you have three upcards and "The Hole" on the table in front of
you. The third round of betting works exactly like the second. After the
bets are made the dealer deals one final round of upcards for a total of
five cards. The fourth is the final betting round and works just like the
second and third except players can also choose to Call instead of Playing or Staying. After all betting is
completed, one after
another the players turn over their Hole Cards, hereby determining the
winning player with the Highest
Rank, who wins the pot in the middle.
